Wednesday Women Leads Group 2019

reThink Your Commute is a commuter services program of the Florida Department of Transportation working to promote smart transportation solutions within the nine counties of Central Florida. LaNina Dobson is an Outreach Specialist for the program, assigned to Volusia and Lake counties as well as the City of Winter Park and the City of Maitland. LaNina Dobson is very familiar with the streets within Central Florida due to the 5 years she worked as a bus operator for LYNX while she studied to receive her M.A. in Mass Communications from UCF.

She is an active member in the Women in Transportation Society and is a reThink Your Commute outreach specialist serving Central Florida.

The $2.3 billion I-4 Ultimate project is reconstructing 21 miles of interstate from west of Kirkman Road to east of State Road 434 in Longwood. Since breaking ground in February 2015 as the largest infrastructure project in Florida history, the I-4 Ultimate project is 55 percent complete as of December 2018.
