A trio of friends hilariously face an existential discovery.
Playwrights' Round Table (PRT) is Orlando's only theater dedicated solely to new stage work.
Our mission is to find and nurture new local, national and international playwrights, give a home to their new stage works, and enliven the page-to-stage process.
We also serve both new and experienced playwrights by providing a venue to vet their new works. The plays are read in a collaborative setting, and receive immediate actor and/or audience feedback. Many later go on to be produced as part of our season.
Our members have enjoyed productions across Florida, New York, Massachusetts, Texas and the rest of the US, and reach across the globe to Australia, Singapore and South Africa.
We're always open to new ideas, so please share them!
